Certificates & Associates Degrees


Bible Studies

This diploma is awarded to the student who earns at least 36 credit hours in any of the classes offered at GPBC or a combination of GPBC classes and approved credits from other colleges. This major is designed for the Christian who desires to increse their knowledge and usefulness in the Lord's work and can be earned by a full-time student in two semesters.

Church Administration

This degree is awarded to male students who earn at least 64 credit hours of classes that are offered at GPBC or a combination of GPBC credits and approved other college credit. This degree will provide a young man the skills associated with administrating a variety of church ministries and the capacity for assisting the Pastor.

Media Ministry

This degree is awarded to students who earn at least 64 credit hours of classes that are offered at GPBC or a combination of GPBC credits and approved other college credit. This degree will equip the person who desires to assist their local church in developing or growing all aspects of media outreach, including audio/visual concepts and systems, web and graphic design, videography/photography and editing, as well as programming, IT and networking fundamentals.

Maintenance and Mechanics

This degree is awarded to male students who earn at least 64 credit hours of classes that are offered at GPBC or a combination of GPBC credits and approved other college credit. This degree will equip any young man who desires to assist their local church in basic maintenance and mechanics. The student will learn the fundamentals of plumbing, construction, and electrical, along with essentials of vehicle mechanics. A full-time student can earn this degree in four semesters.

Office Administration

This degree is awarded to female students who earn at least 64 credit hours in any of the classes offered at GPBC or a combination of GPBC classes and approved credits from other colleges. This degree will enable a young lady to assist her local church in all needed functions for a successful ministry. A full-time student can earn this degree in four semesters.

Bachelors Degrees


Christian Education

This degree is awarded to students who earn at least 128 credit hours of the required classes for this major GPBC or a combination of GPBC classes and approved credits from other colleges pertaining to this major. This degree will qualify the man or woman who desires to train and teach the next generation in the local church school. Students may apply for credit for life experience and if approved, will be assigned a project by the administration. A full-time student can earn this degree in eight semesters.

Pastoral Theology

This degree is awarded to students who earn at least 128 credit hours of the required classes for this major at GPBC or a combination of GPBC credits and approved other college credits pertaining to this major. This degree will equip a young man to pursue the call of God on his life to Pastor an independent Baptist church. Students may apply for credit for life experience and if approved, will be assigned a project by the administration. A full-time student can earn this degree in eight semesters.

Missions

This degree is awarded to students who earn at least 128 credit hours of the required classes for this major at GPBC or a combination of GPBC credits and approved other college credits pertaining to this major. This degree will equip a young man or woman with training for the mission field and access to resources to expedite their deputation. Students may apply for credit for life experience and if approved, will be assigned a project by the administration. A full-time student can earn this degree in eight semesters.

Masters Degrees


Theology

Post-graduate students and students who have attained at least 96 credit hours may apply for entry into GPBC's Master's program. Only male students will be accepted into the Master of Science in Theology course of study. Students will need to earn 36 Master's level credits to be awarded this degree. Students may apply for credit for life experience and if approved, will be assigned a project by the administration. Post-graduate students may also be requested to teach a college level class, thereby earning Master's level credits.

Education

Post-graduate students and students who have attained at least 96 credit hours may apply for entry into GPBC's Master's program. Students will need to earn 36 Master's level credits to be awarded this degree. Students may apply for credit for life experience and if approved, will be assigned a project by the Administration. Post-graduate students may also be requested to teach a college level class thereby earning Master's level credits.
